Best Evidence?

Postby Jwab on Wed Mar 19, 2008 4:48 pm

Well seeing as I hate logging on and seeing no new replies I thought id get off my backside and start a new thread! I was just wondering in all your time investigating what would you say is the single best incident or location that for you is the most convincing evidence of the reality of spirits/ghosts?!

yeah seeing one - but not just out of the corner of my eye and not just for a sec - maybe a bit longer - it would also be better if someone else saw it as at the same time and it was caught on camera..

I think the oddest bit of evidence i have had was from a local pub. Two camcorder and tape recorder all caught a voice which we could say wasn't a member of the group. But then a few weeks later, in a completely differeny location we caught the same voice on one of the camcorders. Which we couldn't explain.

But i think perhaps the best bit of evidence to date was from coalhouse fort, with the shadow walking past me and laura. we have since been back there to try and work out where a person would have been to cause that shadow. Although we can never truly rule out it wasn't somebody, iam pretty convinced that me and laura would have known if somebody was walking behind us, because they would have to have been quite close to us.

Two things stand out for me - one shared and one (sadly) just me.....

The recordings that Lee took in the attic at Bisham Abbey are as good as conclusive as far as I'm concerned (let alone the other recordings from different parts of the building). We are all chatting, Lee and I being the only guys in the group from memory, then another male voice with an Irish accent, questions something that I'd said. Most of the group remember the specific moment and can confirm that there was no audible interference perceived at the time. The voice is clear and succinct and above all interactive!!

The second is visual and it happened at Fort Amherst. There was a group filing into the storerooms at the very back of the Fort - one of the few times we managed to get in there.......I was towards the front and saw the bottom half of someone (ie waist and legs) going up some wooden stairs to a mezzanine floor.....I assumed it was John leading the way, until I heard his voice at the back of the group......I ran up the stairs to find a completely empty floor (with no possible means of exit other than the same stairs I'd just climbed......It was only me whom saw it but they were as "real" as if they belonged to a person........don't you just wish you had a camera!!!! :( :( :( :( :(
I'm not frightened of dying.....any time will do.....I don't mind.
Why should I be frightened of dying.....there's no reason for it.....we've all got to go sometime.

that's a difficult one to answer....i have had personal experiences which have been very real, if these could be experienced by another without any auto-suggestion then to me that would be pretty conclusive.
..... saying that i think the nearest to this would have to be at Cara's local pub ....when peter and myself were helping a "lost soul" .... it was one of the most intense experiences that i have had to date .... what was interesting was that both peter and i saw and felt the same things,(we discovered this when we discussed it after). i know this is very subjective to some.... but hey! sorry! very real to me!!!!
i'm not afraid of dying....it's living that scares me!
